Pastor John Baker, who founded and leads the Celebrate Recovery ministry, adopted The Daniel Plan to address his own weakness with food. We taped a brief conversation with him recently to learn how he is doing, what tips he suggests and how The Daniel Plan is impacting others through Celebrate Recovery.

Pastor John, You are looking absolutely fabulous! I'd say your recovery has taken a big leap forward. I now lead a health and wellness ministry at our church and the Daniel Plan is front and center, I consider it a new pathway in a much needed area of recovery.I would love to see what is stocked in the green room at a CR conference now! NO DIET COKE??!! Hope you and your family are well, I look forward to the day our paths cross again.Be Well,Hillary DeCecchis

Dear Pastor John Baker,I met you in Tacoma on March 2nd at the One Day and told you about being a Catholic and how I had recently brought my Priest to a Celebrate Recovery meeting in Everett and how we wanted to get CR to the Catholic church. You very kindly said to get your e-mail out of one of your books and to contact you and you would be happy to give us the help we would need. I gave him your message on Wed night and he has given me the green light to give you his contact information--which I will be happy to do when you contact me by email.Thank you so much for your interest in helping us. God bless you and your continued work to set the captives free.Barbara PS The Lord told me a couple of years ago--"Don't park on the green lights." So I'm trying to honor that. Whoever reads this please make sure Pastor Baker gets it. Thanks so much.

Dear Rev. Baker,A young man named Tyler Dunlop has written an amazing testimonyin book form of his life called " The Sheltered Path." He is an exceptionally gifted writer who describes his life from childhood to adulthood (28 years old). His journey through the world of alcohol and drugs and resulting stints at shelters is written in an unforgetable style. His desire is to bless others who are 'out there' to turn to the Lord. He is presently in Celebrate Recovery Cobourg Ontario Canada and resides at Hope House in neighboring Colborne. Hope House is a private home hosting up to eight men who have a desire to recover from hurts, hangups and habits (addictions). The manager of the house takes the men to CR meetings in Cobourg and one attempting to start in Colborne. You will be speaking soon in Canada at a Leadership Training for Celebrate Recovery.Could Tyler bring his book and present it to you to consider and help him put this book in the hands of those who desperately need it?We await you answer with prayer.Rev. Barbara-Anne Ramer
