Looking for ways to get your body moving? Four years ago, Tom Wilson started the Walk and Worship Ministry at Saddleback Church to give people professional guidance, a regular routine, and a community of fitness-seeking participants.

Wilson, a strength and conditioning specialist and Pastor Rick’s personal trainer, creates cross-training exercises that anyone, any age can do to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and the body’s core. Regardless of your fitness level (beginner, intermediate, advanced), Wilson will adjust the exercise routine according to your capability so you do as much, or as little, as you want.

These group sessions are FREE, last 60 minutes outdoors, and there’s a group that meets every day except on Sundays. No sign-ups are necessary, just show up and wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes.

6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Meet on the Lake Forest campus in the Pavilion, outside the main Worship Center

6:00 to 7:00 a.m.
Meet at the Rancho Santa Margarita Lake at the fountain down the stairs from the main parking lot, located at 31441 Santa Margarita Pkwy., Mission Viejo.

Saturday Morning Circuit Training
6:00 to 7:00 a.m.
This is a circuit training workout (using weights) that meets at the Solid Rock Workout gym, located at 30012 Aventura, Suite B in Rancho Santa Margarita.

NOTE: Workout space is limited, so you will need to sign-up for Saturdays. Go to www.walkandworship.com and click on the workout description, “Pump and Praise”.

I really love the walk and worship plan, but I live in Costa Mesa and start work at 6:00 am. Any chance of having this or some other kind of exercise program on Saturday mornings at LakeForest?

We have an advanced group which includes some running along with everything else we do.

I live in Tustin (near Old Towne) and would love to meet someone to walk with 3 times a week -- either early morning or after 7:00 p.m.Thank you.

I am on the Daniel Plan and am incorporating exercise into my lifestyle. I have been attending the women's fitness class but am getting a job. I would love to join Walk
