I made you, shaped you: You’re my servant. O Israel, I’ll never forget you. —Isaiah 44:21 MSG

God is for you. He’s not against you, and he’s not indifferent.

He made you and shaped you just the way he wanted you to be. None of your strengths and weaknesses, nothing about your body, none of it is a mistake. He says you are one who is “called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made” (Isaiah 43:7 NIV).

He promises that no matter what you’re going through, he’ll never forget you.

He’s always present, ready to listen to your cry for help. You can depend on that promise.

Whatever challenges you are facing as you seek to reach your health goals, he says, “Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you. I’ve called your name. You’re mine” (Isaiah 43:1 MSG).

Consider meditating on these truths so that they sink deep into your soul. Then your heart will be strong and flexible, able to deal with the ups and downs of life.

Food for Thought: God formed you, made you, shaped you just the way he wants you to be, and you have the privilege of living out that shape as you continue to walk in him.
