Dee Eastman is the founding director for The Daniel Plan that helped over 15,000 people lose 260,000 pounds in the first year alone. Dee’s background in corporate wellness and ministry has fueled her passion to help people transform their health while drawing closer to God. She coauthored a Bible study curriculum that has sold more than 3 million copies. She and her husband Brett have been married 31 years and have five grown children. They have been members of Saddleback Church since 1996.
Shelly Antol joined The Daniel Plan in Dec 2011 overseeing operational support and strategic products. She was the Director of MOPS at Saddleback Church and a Community Leader where she helped establish the Women’s Small Group ministry. Her passion is to connect women and help them flourish where they are planted. Shelly and her firefighter husband Russ have been married 22 years and have raised two adult sons who love the Lord. They have been members of Saddleback Church since 1997.
April O’Neil is a writer and holistic health coach. Her corporate leadership experience combined with her passion to help people heal - body, mind and spirit, have become the cornerstone of her contributions. As the communications specialist for The Daniel Plan, she oversees a number of strategic initiatives including the weekly blog, website, and social media venues. April and her husband Robin have been married 30 years. Together they have four children, and are advocates for adoption. They have been members of Saddleback Church since 2000.
Karen Quinn is the resident “Ambassador” for The Daniel Plan, helping to develop key strategic partnerships and alliances. Karen volunteers her time to the ministry and is an Owner of Regency Real Estate Brokers in Mission Viejo, CA. Karen’s passion is to coach and encourage people to identify their God-given talents and live out God’s plan for their life. She and her husband Marv have been married 25 years, and have been members of Saddleback Church since 1987.
Tracy Jones leads the Sports, Adventure and Fitness Ministry at The Daniel Plan and within Saddleback Church. Her heart for church ministry combined with her passion for the outdoors, inspires fitness leaders to invite people to get moving and find fitness they enjoy. Tracy’s mission is to encourage, inspire and nurture growth in others through adventure and life-changing experiences. Tracy and her husband Todd have 3 beautiful daughters and are members of Saddleback Church.
Kelly Ruiten is the creative coordinator for The Daniel Plan and supports the team with events and operational projects. Kelly has served in various ministries including MOPS and a women’s morning bible study. Her journey to healthy eating began with the launch of The Daniel Plan in Jan 2011. Kelly combines her heart for ministry and her passion for health to help teach others what she has learned. Kelly and her husband Cor have been members of Saddleback Church for 14 years. They have been married 18 years, and have two children Emily and Cole.
